Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

The app is developed and published by Nicolas Montani, Switzerland (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, contact contact@nicolasmontani.ch.

Data we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs and no third-party services. It works fully offline and does not send any data over the internet to us or to anyone else. The Support, Privacy Policy and Terms of Use links in the app’s Settings simply open these web pages in Safari.

Data stored only on your device

To work, the app saves a small amount of game data locally on your iPhone:

• Game statistics: games played, average and best scores per game
• Game progress: difficulty levels and an in-progress Meow Mixer run
• Your cat room: coins, owned and placed decorations, last played game
• Settings: sound, music and haptics preferences and room time-of-day / season choices

This data never leaves your device through the app, is not accessible to us, and is not linked to your identity. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups of the device, which are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Purchases and Apple

The app is a one-time paid download. Payment, Family Sharing and refunds are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never receive your payment details. If you have enabled sharing of diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage statistics. This is controlled by you in iOS Settings and is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Sharing and selling

We do not share, sell, rent or trade any personal information, because we do not collect any.

Retention and deletion

Locally stored game data is kept until you remove it. You can delete it at any time by using Settings → Reset all scores inside the app (scores, statistics and difficulty levels), or delete everything, including your room and coins, by deleting the app from your iPhone.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no data from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request information about, correction of or deletion of personal data concerning you, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Switzerland, the FDPIC). As the app does not collect personal data, we hold none about you, but you are welcome to contact us at contact@nicolasmontani.ch with any request or question.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts handling data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
